About Me

This is the part where I sum up the whole of who I am in a neat little paragraph.

Let’s see, my name is Kellie and I’m a freelance writer and aspiring hero.

Last year, I quit my job as a CNA on the orthopedic unit of a local San Diego hospital to travel the world and share the love of Jesus. I spent 6 months in England and 2 months in Namibia, largely working with disadvantaged youth. I returned home in May and decided to leave behind the world of medicine and pursue my first dream (and college degree) of writing.

I have a great family, who are currently scattered across the globe.  If I’m not reading or writing, you’ll probably find me watching movies, cooking, gardening, traveling, and always drinking tea!

Well, I didn’t fit myself into a paragraph this time, but I hope that you will stick around and get to know me better! I would love to get to know you so please don’t be shy about leaving comments, sending emails, or following me on Twitter!

  1. Hi Kellie

I am in the process of trying to register a company name and website name and low and behold your site is the name I was after! :(

I see that you have your own blog but I also see that you haven’t written since 2013.

Would you consider selling the domain to me?

I am not sure what your plans are but this name is perfect for the business I want to create. I want to create a personal growth website and this name represents what I believe in.

It would be great to have your thoughts.

    • Hello Wayne,
Thank you for your interest. I hope that you have found something else now, as I see you contacted me a few months ago.

I know, I haven’t updated since I started my current job. However, I do intend to keep the domain and continue to post – I’m in the midst of planning a rebrand actually. :)

I wish you the best of luck and I’m sure that you will impact many lives with your new business!
